MEIN FOTOGRAFISCHER HINTERGRUND
Seit dem ersten Kontakt mit der Fotografie war es mein Anliegen, Kreativität über fotografische Bilder zu entwickeln.
Mein Focus liegt auf der Wiedergabe von
strukturellen Erscheinungen in der Natur
sowie an der ausschnitthaften Verdichtung bei der Darstellung realer Gegenstände und urbaner Situationen, d.h. in der
Sichtbarmachung der uns alltäglich umgebenden Dinge unter Herausstellung der Aura dieser Sujets - teilweise in Abstraktionen.
Die Abbildung von Menschen findet in diesem Kontext statt.
Stillleben sind mein weiteres fotografisches Interessengebiet. Auch hier ist die Schaffung einer Aura mein wichtiges Anliegen.
Der unmittelbaren Darstellung von Menschen – insbesondere Portraits – widme ich mich nun in der Spätphase meiner fotografischen Tätigkeit.
MY PHOTOGRAPHIC BACKGROUND
ever since I first came into contact with photography it was my wish to work creatively with photographic images.
my focus has always lain in capturing the
structural properes of the natural world,
as well as in the depiction of existing objects and urban situations in a way that condenses and intensifies them - that is, a way that truly
reveals the everyday world as it surrounds us however, but rather to expose the unique auras of the subjects, a method which occasionally leads to abstraction.
my images of people are made in this context.
still lifes are another of my photographic interests, and a field which I also find important to approach with the aim of capturing a specific aura.
the direct depiction of human subjects, especially portraits, is a challenge that I have now begun to address in the later period of my photographic career.
